Research as a driver of impact
Immersive experiences are a driving force behind the digital transition and have a major impact on the economy and society. But to realise that impact responsibly and effectively, research is essential.
That is why CIIIC connects research structurally with practice. Researchers from universities of applied sciences, universities and other knowledge institutions work in co-creation with IX creators, businesses and civil society organisations. This produces knowledge that is translated directly into better applications, new methods and innovative learning solutions.
Whether it is testing and validating methods and instruments, investigating the conditions for the strategic use of IX, or developing new learning paths through lifelong development: research forms the foundation for a thriving, responsible IX sector in the Netherlands.
